
SEAN McNALLY
COACH SEAN was born and raised in El Segundo and played under the legendary coach John Stevenson. He was a member of the 2002 Babe Ruth World Series championship team from El Segundo and earned the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player award. Sean went on to play at El Segundo High School where he took over as varsity shortstop in his sophomore season, helping the team to capture two league titles and being named All Ocean League in 2003 and Ocean League MVP in 2004. Sean then entered Harbor Junior College to begin his collegiate career and was named starting shortstop in his freshman season.

Currently residing in Redondo Beach, Coach Sean has been giving private lessons, running clinics, and coaching travel teams for some of the most respected youth baseball programs in Southern California. Throughout his seven years of instructional coaching, many of his players has been named to the USSSA All-American Team.

DERREK DUARTE
COACH DERREK enjoyed a distinguished high school career as a three year varsity letterman at El Segundo High School. He then went on to play college baseball at El Camino Junior College before transferring to CSU Dominguez Hills as the team’s catcher.

Derrek has coached at El Segundo High School, CSU Dominguez Hills, and Palos Verdes High School as the varsity pitching and catching coach. He has recently been named the head coach of Palos Verdes High School and now oversees the school’s entire baseball program.
Coach Derrek is a disciple of the NPA (National Pitching Association) and has become an expert in throwing mechanics under the tutelage of the legendary Tom House. He brings considerable experience and expertise to his work with the PCH pitchers and catchers.

ANDY MANOUSHAGIAN
COACH ANDY is a Texas native with a deep-rooted passion for baseball. Primarily a catcher throughout his playing career, he continued to excel on the field through his high school years.
At the age of 18, Andy transitioned from playing to teaching and coaching, dedicating himself to fostering young athletes. In 2018, he started offering coaching lessons in Redondo Beach, and by 2019, he began coaching for Redondo Beach Little League (RBLL) and Pacific Coast Hardball. His specialities include hitting, strength & conditioning, and of course, catching.
His coaching skills quickly became evident, and in 2021, as an assistant coach, he helped lead the RBLL Junior All Star team to the SoCal State Championships. Building on this success, Andy took on the role of head coach in 2023, guiding the Junior All Stars to another appearance in the State champIonships.
With years of experience both on the field and as a mentor, Coach Andy continues to shape the future of baseball in Redondo Beach, inspiring the next generation of players with his knowledge and love for the game.
He lives in the South Bay with his wife Beth, step-son, Patrick, and their pit rescue/team mascot, Libby. Though he and his family are diehard Dodgers fans he still holds a special place in his heart for the Texas Rangers.
GERALD TAYLOR
COACH GERALD is a Long Beach, California native and was a three-year varsity letterman at Cabrillo High School, as an outfielder. In 2010, he earned an invitation to the USA Baseball Breakthrough Series in North Carolina. Continuing his athletic journey at Compton College, Gerald was a contributor to the team’s 2013 Regional Championship. He later transferred to Marymount California University, where he made program history by recording its first-ever save and helping the team secure a playoff berth in its inaugural season.
In addition to his athletic achievements, Gerald transitioned into coaching, beginning his tenure in travel baseball in 2020. He also applies his skills in the aerospace industry, currentley working as a propulsion technician at SpaceX.
